Suppose the good npr segments are going to move over to podcasts. I know they've long since been podcasts too, like planet money, but when you're in NW Wisconsin (one of the areas most affected by the republican funding clawbacks) and your station can no longer afford to pay the planet money fees you'll have to listen to the podcast instead.
In the meantime it'll be all gardening shows on public radio in NW Wisconsin.
I would be interested in a list of the 100 best podcast episodes not podcast shows. A good number of these shows I subscribe to already, but not every episode really stays with me.
This is a great resource, I see some classics and some I have never heard of.
From the "how we chose" link:
> "I included some shows that have ended their runs. I tried to pick podcasts that, if not entirely evergreen, have a hefty archive that can be revisited—series that cracked jokes that haven’t gotten old or covered books and movies you can still read and watch before tuning into a specific episode that will help you appreciate them more fully."
Exactly the kind of curation that makes a big difference on this kind of list.
